Unemployed AGAIN in LA. This blog is about my quest to get back into the writers room. First to find another writers' assistant gig-- then a freelance script.....then staffed.
Along the way, I will discuss everything and anything. Shout outs to all those I met at the Assistant/TV Writers mixers this past week. All your questions about how I became a writers' assistant inspired me to start a blog to track my journey.
I like hip-hop, so I will sample from some of my favorite blogs. Jane Espenson (a must read blog for any aspiring TV writer) has advice and lunch. I will dish out the advice, and will end with some fun info about my newborn son.
Baby: Today I discovered if he is crying, and I blow on his hands and face-- he has a beaming smile. This trick wont last for more than a few weeks, but for right now it is a new sensation for him.
